Flyway Point
Every now and then you meet someone truly special who not only believes in your mission, but who truly “gets it”. Since Pockets Full of Sunshine first began, we have been lucky enough to meet many friends like this, and always at just the right time.
Some of our newest friends, Dan and Kristin, absolutely fall into that category! Dan and Kristin own Flyway Point, an absolutely breathtaking and unique event venue in Ridgeland. As soon as we connected, they immediately extended an invitation for the Rays to come visit once Flyway Point was complete and last week the stars finally aligned and we got the chance!
Well, after we all said our customary hellos to their sweet pups and cats of course.
The Rays LOVED Flyway Point! They fished, found waterfowl, explored the property and enjoyed lunch with their new friends (Dan and Kristin and those of the furry variety).
The property was beautiful and Dan had secured plenty of fishing poles so the Rays headed straight for the pond after we arrived!
Dan and Kristin never left our sides, striking up conversation and building friendships with the Rays all day long. It was such a lovely experience, truly the perfect day with new friends whose hearts are in just the right place.
