Festival of Trees!

Each year PFS participates in “The Festival of Trees“. A fun community event and unique fundraiser benefiting a local private school. Our Rays decorate a tree for the festival, all of the trees are then put on display for two weeks for community members to visit to help get them into the holiday spirit! At the end of the festival each tree goes to its highest bidder to take home for Christmas. Such a fun tradition to visit and be a part of!

This year our Rays made salt dough ornaments which they then painted and used when assembling our Sunshine Tree. Each year we choose a different theme, and this year we went with nautical animals, elements and colors.

The Rays had a blast working on this project and visiting the festival with their families. We always love giving back to our community whenever we get the chance and try to involve our Rays in doing so in a myriad of ways! Happy Holidays everyone!
