Cookie Baking at USCB!

We’re back at the baking!

You may recall that our adults WON the Heritage Classic Golf Tournament Cookie Contest in 2019, making our Peanut Butter Putters the official tournament cookie, and more importantly once again proving that our differently abled adults are not only capable but can excel at whatever they put their minds to!

We then went on to bake with PGA Pro golfer Jim Furyk AND be named a finalist for the PGA Tour Charity of the Year!

You may not recall that those cookies were all baked at our very own USCB Culinary Test Kitchen. One of the highlights of the experience as a whole was baking alongside USCB students during tournament week and watching relationships form and blossom between them and our sweet Rays. So when our friend Sean called us to see if we wanted to come in and bake Christmas cookies we couldn’t say yes fast enough!

We took our Thursday vocational group to USCB for the day and rolled up our sleeves and the results were so very sweet!

We can’t wait to make this a yearly tradition and for more fun opportunities like this one in the future!
