Patriotic Pallets!

This summer continues to look different and most of our usual holiday celebrations aren’t currently possible, but we continue to find as much normalcy in the day to day as we can!

Like most coastal towns, we love celebrating the 4th of July in HHI and our ever fabulous volunteer Kirri had a great idea for a patriotic project the Rays could create this year, Patriotic Pallets!

The Rays repurposed wooden pallets donated by Nimmer Landscaping, sanded them down and painting them red, white and blue!

They took a lot of effort and hard work by our Rays but the finished products were absolutely beautiful!

The 12 the Rays made quickly sold out on Facebook and we had many a happy customer when they were delivered!

This was a fun project and we hope to make a few more next summer…hopefully in much larger groups and covid worry free!!
