This One’s For the Girls!

We love our partnership with St. Luke’s Church, a beautiful connection that has really blossomed over the last few years.

We are an Outreach Mission of their church and are always honored to connect with their congregation yearly. We also have developed relationships with some of the most wonderful volunteers that are also parishioners and they are gracious enough to lend us the use of their facilities for various events when we need space bigger than our own! What a gift they have been to us in so many ways!

This year when our dear friend and St. Lukes Member Carolyn approached us about participating in a Spring Fashion Show to kick off their Women’s Ministry, we couldn’t say yes fast enough!

The theme was “Fruits of the Spirit” and each female Ray was assigned a fruit and color, as was their Jr. Mini Model partner.

The ladies had an incredible time from start to finish, sourcing their own outfits from the Church Mouse Thrift Store, another ministry of St. Lukes. The guys got in on the action too, creating signs for the show alongside our incredibly talented friend and local artist, Leli Holmes.

The show itself, which ran alongside a ladies luncheon, was a huge success and our lady Rays were shining brightly!
