Pickleball, Pancakes and Turkey Oh My!

November is always such a wonderful time to reflect on all that we are thankful for throughout the year. And when you really stop and start to count your blessings, the number always seems to be higher than you think it will be.

We are grateful for many things at Pockets Full of Sunshine, and the fun we had this month is an easy illustration of just a few of them…

Pancakes!! We are thankful for our incredible Rays and the bright light they shine in all of our lives! They are so full of joy and bring positivity, determination and fun to everything they do. We had a ball making breakfast at a Pancakes and Pajamas social this month!

We are also grateful for our incredible staff and their dedication to the Rays. Karns and Francie, our Social Team are constantly thinking of new, fun ideas and experiences for the Rays that enrich their lives so meaningfully!

Pickleball! We are thankful for our amazing volunteers and supporters who make Pockets Full of Sunshine possible!

This month we had a Pickleball Fundraiser that was organized by our incredible volunteer Cat with help from Barb and Jenn! These amazing ladies can pull any event off and their giving and helpful hearts are such a gift to us.

This fundraiser was such a success that it is allowing us to take the Rays out for our next Family Fun Night, a trip to Savannah to watch the Ghost Pirates play hockey!

Turkey!! We are thankful for our Pockets Full of Sunshine Family. The Rays, their families, our Volunteers and Supporters. It takes a village and we have a wonderful one.
