Bananas and Back to School!

One of our favorite PFS Family Fun Nights each year is our annual trip to Savannah to watch the Bananas play!

The Savannah Bananas are a team like no other and watching one of their games is equally as much about entertainment as it is baseball.

The Rays love watching all of their antics while enjoying Americas favorite past time! And we love the chance to have all of our Pockets families together for a night of fun and camaraderie.

This year was extra fun as we rented a bus so that everyone could ride to the game together.

The Rays also donned these sporty hats they made for the game! Sunshine yellow of course!

The end of summer doesn’t only mean baseball but also that it’s time to head back to school. We love a chance to give back to our community and Karns has been planning monthly “Golden Glow” socials that give the Rays the chance to do just that.

This month’s social included collecting school supplies for a “Pack the Pack” initiative. The Rays and some of our community partners collected donations throughout the month and then the Rays spent a fun afternoon filling back packs to donate to local students in need.

A great way to start the new school year off right!
