Friday Fun Nights are Back and another great Hope’s Halloween!
This is a fun post to write because October has been a busy month around here! We have not only begun our holiday crafting…some of our favorite yearly projects! But we have also officially brought back Friday Fun Nights!
Our Friday social outings are beloved by the Rays and caregivers alike as they provide a FUN social outlet as well as a nice break. When COVID hit we put the program on hold as all of our normal outing spaces were limited or closed. As our community has re-opened we decided the time was right to again begin the program with added safety measures in place.
Our first Friday Fun Night took place this month and included a private viewing of a festive Halloween movie at a local gym.
The Rays also enjoyed delicious themed finger foods like these cute mummy dogs!
It was so fun to see them enjoying each others company and a fun movie together, we can’t wait for the next event!
We also rounded out October with our annual Hope’s Halloween Party with our sweet friend Nancy! Nancy’s daughter Hope passed away several years ago and she loved Halloween. In her memory, Nancy celebrates her life with PFS each year, dressing up, treating the Rays to Halloween goodies and reading us some of Hope’s amazing poetry.
It is one of our favorite days and we are so grateful for Nancy and for sweet Hope!
Happy Halloween Everyone!
